Brian Mikkelsen is the CEO of the Danish Chamber of Commerce since June 2018.

He was a member of the Danish Parliament for the Conservative People’s Party from 1994 and until he took up the position at the Danish Chamber of Commerce. During the period he had several ministerial posts, among other, as Minister of Economic and Business Affairs.

Xenia zu Hohenlohe is a Founding Partner/Director with the Considerate Group, a solutions provider for sustainable services to hospitality businesses.

Xenia began her career in the hotel industry 24 years ago as a PR manager for international hotel groups such as Mandarin Oriental Hotels in London.

Bart Roetert, Freke van Nimwegen and Selma Seddik got to know each other at Albert Heijn; the largest Dutch food retailer. They were confronted with food waste and decided to enroll in an innovation competition The Best Idea of Young Ahold. Their idea was to create a pop-up restaurant where unsold food from supermarkets could be turned into delicious meals. They won and Instock opened its doors in 2014.

Nowadays they operate three restaurants, one in Amsterdam, The Hague and Utrecht. With their restaurants, product line and sorting facility they rescued more than 600.000 kilos of food surplus but also continuously make policy makers, consumers and business managers more aware of the problem of food waste. With this success they were part of Forbes 30 under 30 in 2016 and won the Runner Up award at The Circulars (World Economic Forum) in 2018.
